Mhor Micro live build project at Mhor Festival

Winner of the Glasgow Institue of Architects Award for Best Small Works in 2016.

Uaimh is inspired by the eroded forms of the falls and caverns around the site. Each face of the structure has a single aperture which frames a specific view of the spectacular scenery in the glen. It is constructed of 120 uniquely hand cut sheets of OSB stacked and fixed together to create an undulating, carved-out form that is both subtle and inviting.

Our team of six carried out construction over an intense 3 week period, before it was installed on site and enjoyed by festival goers of all ages!
